After just a month, we are seeing great adoption of the expanded Data Subscription Program Features
In April, SEMA Data launched a refreshed and more flexible Data Subscription Program tailored to support the growing demands of resellers and service providers in the automotive aftermarket. With record-setting platform usage and a surge in data requests, this revamped model introduced three new subscription tiers — Accelerate, Turbo, and Mach — designed to ensure performance, fairness, and innovation across the network.
This rollout followed a year of record engagement across the SEMA Data platform:
Over 2.4 million exports in the last 12 months
200,000+ monthly exports, or 6,500+ per day
21 million API calls, with over 10 million calls just for vehicle-to-product lookups
This surge in usage reinforced the need to scale the program by usage to preserve performance and ensure that all participants have access to the resources they need.
Meeting Reseller Needs with Smarter Tiers
Resellers can choose from three usage-based plans:
Accelerate – Offers the core features of the current program, ideal for smaller operations or those just getting started. It includes a limited bucket of exports and API calls.
Turbo – Designed for growing businesses, this tier boosts export and API usage limits and adds powerful filtering features:
Filter by vehicle make or make & model
Filter by part type (e.g., suspensions, brakes, etc.)
Filter by fuel type (e.g., diesel vehicles – coming in May!)
Filter by vehicle type (e.g., ATV, UTV, truck, motorcycle, etc. - coming in May!)
Mach – Built for high-volume users, Mach significantly increases data access and introduces premium features to be announced upon upgrade.
These tiers are part of SEMA Data’s strategy to equitably distribute system resources while continuing to deliver reliable, high-speed data access.
Supporting Service Providers with Equity in Mind
SEMA Data also clarified subscription requirements for Service Providers. To maintain fairness, data integrity, and alignment with participation agreements, all Service Providers were moved to the Mach tier. This ensured proper data flow between authorized parties and prevents unintended centralization.
Powering the Aftermarket—Together
More than 4,750 resellers—including top-tier retailers like Summit, O’Reilly, and AutoZone — already rely on SEMA Data. The new subscription tiers allow SEMA Data to continue delivering uninterrupted access to standardized, validated product data, while also investing in new technologies, filters, and tools that help resellers grow their business.
Whether you're a local jobber, large WD, or advanced eCommerce provider, there’s now a plan built for your business model—with the tools and data to help you move faster.
