PureForge first selects high-quality OEM or OEM Equivalent rotors subjected to an inbound quality inspection and a detailed and rigorous proprietary cleaning and surface preparation process before treatment. The Atomic-Forged® process is a proprietary production protocol that treats the brake rotors' working surfaces. Each rotor undergoes a complex metallurgical treatment protected by multiple patents, patents pending, and know-how. This treatment modifies the surface of the cast iron brake rotors at the molecular level, and the result is a multi-layer, ultra-dense metal matrix that is forged directly into/onto the surface of the rotor. The process is proprietary, computer-controlled, robust, and highly scalable.
